The topnotch producer of Kannada cinema Rockline Venkatesh is foraying in to Hindi cinema via joint production of Tamil remake film with Rohit Shetty topnotch director from Zameen to Chennai Express.

Rock telephoning on his signing of contract on Thursday afternoon disclosed that he is producing the Tamil remake ‘Soodhu Kavvum’ with Rohit Shetty. The selection of cast for Hindi version has started he says.

Meanwhile Rock is making the same film in Kannada and it will be after some point of time. There was happiness in the chat Rockline had with this media person. I was waiting for good time to enter to Hindi cinema industry he says.

Rockline Productions Private Limited and Rohit Shetty Productions are producing the film in ANT group.

Rohit Shetty a Mangalorean son of Fighter Shetty made debut as assistant director as the age of 15. Singham with Ajay Devgun, Golmal series and Golman Returns, All the best, Sunday, Bol Bachchan, mega hit movie ‘Chennai Express’ are the films directed by Rohit Shetty.

‘Soodhu Kavvum’ (evil engulf) by debutant Nalan Kumaraswamy featuring Vijay Sethupathi and Kannada heroine Sanchitha Shetty in lead roles. The film earned Rs.50 crores in Tamil Nadu.

Actress Sanchita Shetty arranged for this film screening to some of the film industry personnel and media friends a few months back at Renukamba Digital theatre in Malleswaram.
